Atlanta Airport Rolls Out Red Carpet For World-Class Traveling

Posted on Jan 27, 2016, by Mollie Williams

Every year, 100 million domestic and international travelers pass through the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. As the busiest airport in the world, it experiences an incredible amount of traffic moving in and out of the travel hub. With every new traveler comes new dirt, dust, and grease from the parking lot and moisture from rain or inclement weather - all brought inside on on the heels of shoes, carts, and luggage.

World-class traveling requires world-class spaces, which can hinge on a building’s first impression – the entrance. Effective entryway flooring can trap up to 80% of dirt and moisture from entering a building within the first 30 feet. Knowing this, the Atlanta Airport selected Milliken’s OBEX® entry solutions to keep the space clean and inviting for its millions of passengers.

Aesthetics are key in building entrances, too. In addition to unparalleled performance, OBEX® offers a true design solution for entryways. With a vibrant blue in the North Terminal entrance and saturated red in the South Terminal, the entryway flooring also gives the Atlanta Airport a unique opportunity to reinforce their brand in a way that is both beautiful and functional.

We hope you enjoy a few images of OBEX® at work in the Atlanta Airport. Click here to discover more about how OBEX® can improve your facility’s first impression.
